About
I'm the Director of Learning Designs offering research and consultancy services for professional and tertiary education. I'm also a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Glasgow School of Social Work where - Until October 2009 - I was on the academic staff as a Reader in Social Work.
I was also seconded from the Glasgow School of Social Work to the Institute for Research and Innovation in Social Services (http://www.iriss.org). My last position with IRISS was as Acting Director but prior to that led a team of technologists and information scientists developing online services for social services professionals.
I've researched and published on educational multimedia, knowledge management and technology applications in social services. I'm also a qualified PRINCE2 practitioner.
